Dean - Optical Dispenser:

Started his career in optics by responding to a job advert on an OPSM window in 2008.

By 2011 he had obtained his Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing and was picked to work in the largest optometry practice in the southern hemisphere at the time (where he met his wife Felicity)

In 2013 he successfully applied for and started working at Berwick Optical Centre.

After working for the original practice owner who was also an optical dispenser, Gary Luxmoore for 2 years he was offered the opportunity to purchase the practice in 2015

Dean and his wife Felicity have been reinvesting in modern optometry equipment and lens edging machinery for the practice since 2015. They have also expanded the technical repair services available in their store. 

Tim - Optometrist:

Tim completed  his optometry degree with therapeutic endorsement  at Melbourne University in 2010 after attending an overseas placement in Fiji.

Once graduated Tim worked in country Victoria for the first 3 years of his career before moving his focus back to the city.

From 2014 Tim, confident in his abilities branched out on his own offering locum optometry services across Australia in both private and chain optometry practices.

Tim came on board at Berwick Optical Centre in the beginning of 2020 and has been a great asset to both the team and business since.

Glaucoma - Diabetic and general eye health.

Felicity - Optical Dispenser:

Felicity started her optical career working at Sunglass Hutt way back when dinosaurs roamed the land.

Eventually she found her senses and moved into the dispensing side of optics when she transferred over to OPSM.

After mircomanaging people for KPI's she was given the opportunity to work with the man, the legend, her current husband and BOSS, Dean :)

After she survived a few years working in the hellhole known as Eyehub she decided to run away to weightwatchers to watch fat people, got over that and went to Optical wholesale, after that shitshow went on to work for the bestest person in the world.
